Notice of Public Meetings - Ho'o Lei la Puwalu


Native Hawaiians, fishermen and members of the public are invited to participate in these workshops on best practices for natural resource management for the mokupuni communities in the Hawaii Archipelago. Breakout sessions include topics on place-based adaptive management, community code of conduct, community consultation process, education, and eligibility criteria. Findings from these meetings (and those held in August on the Big Island) will be considered at a statewide Puwalu in November on Oahu. Get Involved in making fishery decisions.
